Ամուսինը հայտնաբերում է կնոջ անկենդան մարմինը. նա հենց նոր ինքնասպան է եղել։ Հուսահատված՝ նա մնում է մարմնի կողքին՝ չկարողանալով ընկալել նրա արարքի պատճառը։ Ամուսինը խորանում է անցյալի մեջ՝ վերլուծելով իրենց հարաբերությունների տարբեր փուլերը՝ առաջին հանդիպումից մինչև միասին կառուցված կյանքը։ Սա Բրեսոնի առաջին գունավոր ֆիլմն է, որտեղ գույնը վերածվում է ճնշված մտայնության փոխանցման հանճարեղ միջոցի։
Չորրորդ տարին անընդմեջ Ֆրանսիայի դեսպանությունը/Հայաստանի ֆրանսիական ինստիտուտը և «Ֆիլմադարան» ՀԿ-ն շարունակում են Հայաստանի ազգային գրադարանում ֆրանսիական կինոյին նվիրված Սինե-ակումբի աշխատանքները: Այս տարի կինոակումբը հանդիսատեսին է ներկայացնում Ռոբեր Բրեսոնի ֆիլմերի հետահայաց ծրագիրը։

Un homme découvre le corps inanimé de sa femme : elle vient de se suicider. Bouleversé, il reste à ses côtés, incapable de comprendre son geste. Il replonge alors dans le passé, revisitant les étapes de leur relation, de leur première rencontre à la vie qu’ils ont construite ensemble dans l’espoir de saisir les signes avant-coureurs de son mal-être et les raisons de ce drame.
L’Ambassade de France / Institut français d’Arménie et Filmadaran poursuivent l’organisation d’un ciné-club français à la Bibliothèque nationale, avec pour cette quatrième année une rétrospective consacrée à Robert Bresson.

A man discovers his wife's lifeless body: she has just committed suicide. Distraught, he stays by her side, unable to understand her actions. He then delves into the past, revisiting the stages of their relationship, from their first meeting to the life they built together, hoping to grasp the warning signs of her unhappiness and the reasons for this tragedy.
For the 4th year in a row, the Embassy of France / French Institute in Armenia and Filmadaran NGO continue their cooperation in implementing the Ciné-club at the National Library of Armenia. This year the film club will feature a retrospective dedicated to Robert Bresson․
